LIDERAMOS strengthens Latino leadership through training, mentorship, scholarships, resources, and community-building, helping create a more vibrant and equitable nation.

Our Approach

At LIDERAMOS, we believe leadership is rooted in culture, community, and purpose. Our leadership development model is guided by five Core Elements inspired by the work of Dr. Juana Bordas and decades of Latino leadership practice: Self Development and Awareness; Mainstream Leadership; Latino History, Culture and Leadership Practices; Public Policy, Civic Engagement and Social Change; and Skill Development: Networking, Team Building and Influence Strategies.

Together, these elements provide a well-rounded foundation for developing effective leaders, strengthening teams, and building impactful organizations and leadership programs. Whether you are seeking to grow as an individual leader, strengthen your team, develop emerging leaders within your organization, or enhance a community-based leadership program, the LIDERAMOS Leadership Model offers a culturally grounded framework that deepens leadership competencies, builds meaningful connections, and strengthens the capacity to create lasting change.

While the LIDERAMOS Leadership Model provides a shared blueprint for leadership development, its flexibility honors the diversity of Latino communities, organizations, and leadership programs across the country. This adaptable approach allows leaders and organizations to respond to local needs and contexts while remaining grounded in a common vision for cultivating Latino leadership and collective impact.
